Refund policy

At Peak Orchids we strive to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. Due to the perishable nature of live plants, please read our return policy carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities. Plants are natural living organisms and have certain requirements to live and to thrive; Peak Orchids cannot be liable for the provided care and conditions once shipped and out of our care. Living plants have natural variations and defects, such as any living organism, and will vary from one another in many ways. Peak Orchids cannot be liable for these natural variations.
1. Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be the same plant packed and shipped by Peak Orchids, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. Only plants that arrive damaged or not as described are eligible for return. All orders packed by Peak Orchids will be documented by photographs clearly showing the condition of the plant(s) in the order and how they were packed pre-shipping.
2. Reporting an Issue
If your plant arrives damaged or not as described, please contact us within 2 days of receiving your order. You can reach us at orders@peakorchids.com with the following information:
- Order number
- Description of the issue
- Photographs of the damaged or incorrect plant
3. Return Process
Once your return request is approved, we will provide you with instructions on how to return the plant. Please follow these steps:
- Carefully repackage the plant in its original packaging.
- Include a copy of your order confirmation or receipt.
- Ship the plant back to us using a trackable shipping method.
4. Refunds and Replacements
Upon receiving and inspecting the returned plant, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or replacement. If approved, you can choose between a refund or a replacement plant:
- Refunds: The refund will be processed to your original method of payment within 10-14 days.
- Replacements: A new plant will be shipped to you at no additional cost.
5. Non-Returnable Items
Certain items are non-returnable, including:
- Gift cards
- Sale items (if applicable)
- Plant orders where Peak Orchids was not notified within our issue reporting timeframe specified above.
6. Shipping Costs
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your plant. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of original shipping will be deducted from your refund.
